Grape Picking
Beginning the grape picking requires patience. It can start when the fruit is really ready. In 2005 this moment came as late as the middle of October. The experts in the chateau wait for the grapes to ripen for as long as it takes.
At present the Valley yields 400 tons of grapes. The vines are still young and the massif is at its 50 percent of the real capacity. In a few years, it will reach hundred percent of the capacity and the production will be 750-800 tons of grapes.
Grape picking continues for about 25 days. The Valley accommodates 250 people who come here to hand-pick the grapes. People, observing the grape picking for the first time are surprised of how the labour and feast become one.
